Lipstick Crisis (3CE lipsticks) Review

Recently, I've been buying lotsa lipsticks. Gone were the days where I spam tons of eyeliner. To me, minimal look is key now (except for the ocassional falsies?) haha oh well never thought I would say this one day but there you go bahaha.

If I enter a make up store, the first section I would go is the lipstick section. My love for it will never die. Not hard to guess why.

The brand had actually been gaining lots of popularity & attention for quite some time back already. Before 3CE was carried in Singapore by Luxola and Miyoc, I wanted to try dem lippies so badly that I asked my mum to buy 2 shades of their lipsticks when she went Korea. It is definitely cheaper there and more variety to choose from! Buying from their website is another possibility but not many would do that since its quite expensive, plus the shipping fee. Yea you get my point..


So when I finally got my hands on it, I was over the moon! I always always apply lip balm before putting on any lipstick. If you wan smooth soft lips, rmb BALM BEFORE STICK!

1) #408 Chu Chu

the lippie itself looked like a normal pink but it more of a neon pink color when applied. If you are a fan of neon colors, you might like this.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

• love its subtle glossy finish
• color payoff isn't that lasting, limecrime is the best imo (will talk about it some other day)
• like the neon pink color because its not everyday you see pretty neon colors in the asia lipsticks market

2) #605 Fatal

 

 

Have I mentioned I am quite into purple lippies nowadays? I have like 3 purple ones alr hahaha frm 3ce, limecrime, mac. LOL. Hey, its my fav color too!

The purplish vamp color immediately caught my eye.

 

 

subtle matte-ish look

color is more to dark red/maroon than purple. Was a lil disappointed. But the color can always be rectify by mixing with other colors.

 

 

 

Conclusion:

 

Both lipsticks have very rich intensity and pigmented, 2 swipes is enough. VERY creamy yet moisturizing. Glides easily & I mad love their black sleek packaging?! they are square based and not round.

 

For #605 Fatal, color is kinda different when applied as it looks more dark. Perhaps adding a tinge of lipgloss will do the trick :) OR MAYBE ITS MY LIPS. Would recommend Mac or Limecrime if you want a LEGIT PURPLE. to me, Fatal isn't very purple if ya knw what I mean.

For a flirty yet not trying too hard kinda look, I'll say go for Chuchu.
